My Story
Why Scentsy?
I joined Scentsy in May of 2013 after a friend asked me if I would be interested in having a FB Scentsy party. I said, why not? I got my order and was absolutely amazed at how wonderful my house smelled. There are several stories I could tell you about how I know that God had me hit the join button for a reason but if I did, you would be here all-day reading.
A little about me:
I am a fur mama to 3 rescued cats, and I promise you they are spoiled rotten brats. I love them with all my heart. I have the pleasure of being an aunt to a wonderful and awesome niece and a nephew that love all their Scentsy gifts. I have an incredible team called Scentsationally Wickless that keeps me on target when I do not feel motivated. Another reason, I know God had me hit that join button.
My journey:
Since joining in 2013, Scentsy has allowed me to go to several places that I may have never visited had I not taken that leap and hit join. I have met so many amazing people that inspire me to be more than I am on any given day, and I have built new long-lasting friendships. I never imagined that I would work with a company that blesses so many by giving more than they take. I get excited when a new scent comes out so I can share it with others, and I enjoy bringing that light into their eyes of the pure happiness the scent brings them.
From 2013 to 2020, I had fun, I went on trips to different states to attend seminars provided by Scentsy and met some amazing people. I have heard amazing speakers tell their stories on a stage in front of thousands of consultants. I have felt emotions that rocked me in my core to be a better daughter, sister, aunt, friend, co-worker, and more. I have rekindled old friendships, made new friends, and met some amazing women and men that have made me realize that I was meant for so much more than I ever imagined. I fell in love with everything Scentsy offered from new scents and warmers to new fragrance systems, and the ability to share this amazing opportunity with others.
In March 2020, after 20-plus years in telecommunications, I found that part of my life was going away. However, I was thankful that I had my Scentsy business, and I was able to continue to survive. I had always thought that I started selling Scentsy to have a few extra dollars and to feed my new addiction to Scentsy, but I know now that it was God preparing me. So, when I say God knew what he was doing in 2013 when he had me spend $99 to join, he knew!
